VISION
The college came into being in the Academic year 1986-87 owing to the determined efforts of the BASIC EDUCATION SOCIETYŽ. The objective of the Basic Education SocietyŽ is to impart professional cum productive education and to promote and organize social activities for building up cultural, social and educational characters of young generation.
Dr. Rammanohar Lohia College of Law, affiliated initially to Bangalore University and now to KARNATAKA STATE LAW UNIVERSITY and recognised and approved by Bar Council of India, is one of the many institutions proposed to be established by the Basic Education Society.
Presently, the college offers both 5 years LL.B day course and 3 years LL.B day course for students who have passed 10+2 and graduates respectively. Both the courses are recognised by the Bar Council of India and Karnataka State Law University. Semester system has been introduced since the academic year 2001 - 2002.
